Professor and Researcher of FCUP win Acredita Portugal Award

CATALVALOR project, an innovative technology based on a solid catalyst that transforms waste into biodiesel, won the 1st place in the Industry category at Acredita Portugal Contest, the biggest national entrepreneurship competition. CATALVALOR project was also one of the 3 finalists at Mobility Brisa category, inserted in the same contest. The project was distinguished between more than 18 thousand applications, in a selection process that lasted several months. CATALVALOR is a disruptive solution that was born to solve the current problems of Biodiesel responsible for its lack of competitiveness, when compared to diesel derived from petroleum.
